Position Overview

Goldman Sachs is seeking a proactive and analytical Analyst to join the Corporate Treasury – Project Management Office (PMO) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives across Corporate Treasury, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Business teams through all stages of the project lifecycle.

The Corporate Treasury division manages the firm’s funding, liquidity, capital, and relationships with creditors and regulators. This position is ideal for candidates with strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Business teams to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with divisional goals.

  • Support project leads in scoping, planning, and setting realistic timelines for project delivery.

  • Conduct business analysis, facilitate workshops, and translate requirements into actionable specifications.

  • Perform detailed user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring quality and risk mitigation during implementation.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Identify, manage, and escalate project issues and risks, implementing mitigation plans as needed.

  • Prepare detailed project documentation, updates, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support automation across Treasury operations.

  • Ensure projects align with Corporate Treasury’s strategic priorities and long-term goals.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in project management, operations, or financial services.

Core Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.

  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Experience in project delivery using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Technical aptitude to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, and JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with agile project environments.

  • Familiarity with Signavio, Alteryx, and Tableau.

  • Lean Six Sigma or change management certification preferred.
